Football, the beach and more . . .

Just some pictures of various things that went on in September. Logan's football team has only lost one game so far (we won the one last Wednesday 33-0). The one game we lost we only lost by 1 point and there were some questionable calls. But it's been quite fun. Other than that, we spent some time at the beginning of the month at the sound which was quite fun. Mitch has only been hunting once (though he has gone today) and we have all spent most Saturdays together. The boys and I have really enjoyed it. We all spent the majority of September sick. Logan missed his first days of school (he didn't miss a day last year) with a stomach bug that we all passed around. Logan, Jacob and I had it at the same time and Mitch had to work that day - it was a fun day in the Fulcher household. We then all got a cold and mine turned to a sinus infection and bronchitis, but unlike in the past - I wasn't down for over a week with it - I only missed 1 day of work!

Also note - Mitch has now been in business for one year! And next month we celebrate 10 years of marriage. Time does fly. Now onto pictures of the boys:

First football - this is Logan in his uniform and then the first game which they played in the rain. Mitch and Jacob stayed in the van (they were sick), I stood out with Logan's Sponge Bob umbrella, and Logan got wet! Logan is #8.

The coaches sons decided to dump the water on him (pretty pointless since he was already soaked, but it made for a good laugh!

Next up are some beach pics:







Now on to Logan's first dove hunt. Daddy took him on the Saturday and Monday of Labor Day weekend and Logan loved it! He shot Granddaddy's 410 and went after the doves on the ground. He even claims he saw feathers when he shot one of them. All-in-all it was great daddy-son bonding time and Logan is ready to go again!

Logan's First Day of First Grade

Here are some highlights from the morning. The first day went great. I really like his teacher and so does he. His best friend is in his class and a lot of his other friends are too. I think it's going to be a great but busy year (he had homework the first night).

He also had a football game in the rain last night - but the pictures from that will come in the next update!
